Ottawa, ON, April 28, 2014 – Stratford Managers Corporation, the management consulting firm that turns strategy into performance, today announced that senior HR consultants Janet LeClair and Kathryn Yeung have joined the firm within the HR practice.
“The key to top performance in any organization is the effective management of human resources,” said Mike D’Amico, VP HR and Leader of the HR practice at Stratford Managers. “Kathryn and Janet bring a wealth of HR consulting experience that will help our clients in the private, not-for-profit and public sectors achieve better results.”
Janet LeClair has worked for over 20 years with academic administrators, researchers, clinicians, CEO’s and boards of directors in HR management, finance and communications roles. She joins Stratford Managers from her HR Consulting firm, HRoi Partners. From 2009 to 2011 Janet was Chief Administrative Officer of YORKbiotech Inc. responsible for programs to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation in York Region. From 2006 to 2009 she was Manager, HR & Communications at the Toronto Centre for Phenogenomics (TCP) and from 2003 to 2006 she was Manager of Operations at the McLaughlin Centre for Molecular Medicine. From 1995 to 2003, Janet was Director, HR & Administration at GlycoDesign Inc., a bio-pharmaceutical company. Janet has served on the boards of BioTalent Canada and York Technology Association (now TechConnex). She is a graduate of Ryerson University’s Business Administration Program and the Rotman School of Management’s Advanced Program in Human Resources, University of Toronto. Janet holds a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation.
Kathryn Yeung brings to Stratford Managers more than 20 years of experience in the fields of Talent Management, Organizational Development and Change Management within the financial, telecom, energy and public sectors. Most recently she worked at one of the world’s largest pure-play renewable energy companies directing the talent management agenda and supporting change management for an HRIS implementation. From 2009 to 2011, Kathryn worked at the City of Ottawa where she assisted in the implementation of the government’s service excellence priorities. Prior to this, Kathryn had a distinguished 14 year career at Nortel Networks establishing a cutting edge recruitment program, ensuring successful change management for a multiyear ERP project, and leading global employee development, engagement and diversity programs. Kathryn began her career at a large insurance organization. She holds an honours BA in Sociology from the University of Toronto and a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Humber College.
