Chad spent the early part of his career working for one ‘startup’ tech company that morphed into several over a span of 20 years. Newbridge spun out thirdspace, thirdspace was acquired by Alcatel, Alcatel acquired Lucent becoming Alcatel-Lucent, and Nokia acquired Alcatel-Lucent.
Chad started as a software designer but moved from R&D to product management, product marketing, and progressively took on more senior roles. Chad’s last role at Nokia was as the Vice President and General Manager of the Policy and Charging software business unit. This was one of the most profitable global software business units in the company with 850 employees and $250 million USD a year in sales. Scope was full P&L with Finance, Product Marketing, R&D, Product Management, Support and Services all together in one unit.
Chad now spends his time helping small and medium sized businesses scale through board work, consulting, and angel investing (Capital Angel Network). Consulting work is done through Stratford Managers and revolves around strategy, product marketing, product management, fund raising, and executive coaching.
